Finally... a day with sunshine, I can go for a ride.
I'd been deterring cabin fever from setting in (due to rain) by making a start on my looming to-do list. That's right I have just finished attaching keywords to over 3,000 images... how exciting... (pause) Not! Although it did take me on a nice trip down memory lane. It's kind of like when your mum calls you up to come and 'collect' all that stuff you'd left at her house for years (as not to clutter your own!). So when you do take on the culling mission, you find yourself being distracted by all your old things and the memories as to why you kept them. Before you know it, it's time to leave. You've thrown out some old school work, filling the recycle bin which gives your mum the impression you're making progress. But the truth is sometimes it's hard to let go, sometimes not, so you repack the one or two boxes you opened and know it'll be there for another day.
Today I packed a care box, for a friend over the other side of the country. I filled it with things I needed to pass on and things I thought she'd enjoy. The box fitted nicely on Elliot's rack, and as we hit the road to send it off, I heard from this friend. It made me smile that we're always thinking of each other, and this was the inspiration for today's Friday photo.
